Modern Quantum Theory
Our textbook "Modern Quantum Theory - From Quantum Mechanics to Entanglement and Quantum Information", published by Oxford University Press, is now out in print and as e-book!
The more than 1000 pages provide a fully referenced introduction to quantum mechanics and a treatment of (the basics of) modern quantum information theory, which we hope will be useful to students, researchers and (university-level) teachers alike. The cover was created by the extremely talented Alexander Rommel, https://aerroscape.de But, as is always the case with such a big project, some errors and typesetting mistakes sneak in. Below is a table with all corrections for the first print run that we have so far been able to identify. If observing readers spot any additional things that need fixing, we would be grateful for feedback via email to nicolai.friis@tuwien.ac.at. For helping identifying the corrections below I am grateful to: Tiago Debarba, Florian Kanitschar, Markus Miethlinger, Ida Mishra, Phila Rembold, and Ahmad Zubair |

There, the photons inside the cavity are in thermal equilibrium with the atoms that emit and absorb photons, as we recall from our discussion at the very beginning of the book in Section 1.1.3."
